Our History

In October 2008, a group of young, courageous athletes arrived in New Mexico to pursue their post-collegiate running dreams. On a brisk night around a wood burning stove, Dukes Track Club was born. In 2009, the first bylaws were written formally establishing the organization.

As the years went on and membership grew, in 2022 the Dukes Track Club became a nonprofit organization (NM 501(c)) to formalize the team’s mission to promote training activities, serve our youth program, and foster greater impact within the community.

Our Members

Dukes Track Club members are runners of all ages and abilities who are passionate about working together to achieve their personal goals. We strive to provide a safe and welcoming environment for all athletes. Find us donning turquoise from local road races to the Olympic Trials. When we are not racing, you can find us at any of our four+ weekly runs throughout Albuquerque.

More than a run club, Dukes Track Club offers year-round social and volunteering events to promote community.
